Arizona Swimming Tour

The Western United States is one of my favorite playgrounds. Our Mother Earth provides the solutions to all of our problems.

Stanley, one of the coldest places in the United States is also home to the most abundant geothermal waters (which you can learn more about in my Hot Springs Guide).

Arizona, one of the hottest states is also (surprisingly!) home to some of the most amazing swimming I’ve ever experienced. Two of these swimming holes are covered in-depth in my Fossil Creek Guide.

I often travel from Tucson, Arizona to New Mexico or Utah and every time I can I try to visit one or all of these swimming holes. Only a few hours from Phoenix, they’re remote enough that you can often have them to yourself if you’re not visiting during prime times.
